1. Surface treatment requirements: the bonding surface must be clean, dry, smooth and free of rust and oil stains. Steps: Properly sanding, it is recommended to use a clean flannel to remove rust, and increase the micro-contact area to improve the bonding effect.
B) For general surfaces, it is recommended to use a mixture of isopropyl alcohol alcohol (IPA) and water (mixing ratio is 1:1) to clean oil and dust.
C) Use a clean cloth or paper towel to clean and dry the bonding surface.
D) For some surfaces with large roughness, many meshes, extremely easy to wet (such as glass), and chemical reactions (such as brass), pretreatment is required. It is recommended to use a pre-coating agent.
2. Pressure A) In order to achieve a good bonding effect for a small area of the adhesive, a certain pressure must be applied to the tape and the bonding surface to make the tape and the bonding surface fully contact. It is recommended to use a scraper and or a roller.
B) For large-area and long-span adhesives, in order to achieve a good bonding effect, a certain pressure must be applied to the tape and the bonding surface to make the tape and the bonding surface fully contact, and the weight shall be pressed for 12 hours on average , In order to increase the contact between the tape and the surface of the adhesive, or even clamp it with a clamp, so that the tape and the surface of the adhesive are in full contact. Note: Adhesive tape must be in full contact with the object to be pasted, and should not be used on severely uneven surfaces.
3. Time The double-sided tape has initial adhesion, but it takes 72 hours to reach the maximum strength. During this period, do not make structural operations (the bonding curve is shown in the figure)
4. Temperature The operating temperature should not be lower than 10 ℃, because the temperature is too low, the initial adhesion of the tape will be greatly reduced, resulting in a longer curing time. (Such as the graph) If the temperature is too low, the bonding material and tape can be moved to a warm room for storage or heat treatment before the operation, or a low-temperature operation type super-strength double-sided tape can be used. If construction requires immediate structural operation, the heating temperature of the adhesive and tape can be increased to about 50-70°C. Heat for about 30 minutes and increase the pressure.
